About Me

Melissa (Mel) Elkins was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She is the middle child of two brothers. As a little girl she enjoyed singing, dancing, beating her brothers and mom in basketball, traveling with her family, and being the center of attention! Inspired by her older brother and Keira knightly (specifically from the movie Atonement) Melissa wanted to be a movie star. She took her first acting class at 13 and fell in love. As a 22 year old young woman, Melissa has just graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in Theatre and Dance with an emphasis in Performer's Process. There she found a deep love for many different forms of storytelling including playwriting, devised theatre, film, and much more. Now, Melissa works everyday to bring her storytelling to a bigger scope and another level.
